HorsePower Australia (formerly known as Riding for the Disabled Australia)

HorsePower is a community-based charitable organisation providing high-quality equine assisted programs adapted to the needs of people with diverse abilities across the state. Racing and Wagering Western Australia has partnered with HorsePower since 2014, providing a total of more than $700,000. The partnership goes beyond money to sharing resources and ideas, supporting programs and donating suitable retired racehorses to become therapy horses.

The families of people with disabilities or mental and emotional challenges face heavy medical and therapy expenses. We are honoured to support the Hearts and Horses Scholarships, which make riding sessions more affordable.
